-       Transfer to Banteay Srei (Citadel of women). This temple has a special charm, it is small but exquisite in its decorations, made from hard pink sandstone. Banteay Srei was built in the reign of King Rajendravaraman II and completed in the reign of king Jayavarman V in 967 AD, it is dedicated to the God Shiva (god of Creation and Destruction).

-       Then we cycle back in the direction of Siem Reap, on the way we stop at Neak Pean-temple. During the rainy season (October and November) its central tower is full of water, which then reflects the image of the lovely sanctuary. At Neak Pean one can see beautiful carvings, all related to Buddhism. It was built by the great Khmer-king Jayavarman VII.

-       We go on to cycle to Preah Khan, which King Jayavaman VII used as a monastery and learning-center and as a dedication to his farther. The rest of the way we sit in the van, fresh up in the hotel and go to have dinner at the Apsara-Restaurant, including show.
